Blake Lively Celebrates a low key 23rd birthday

Blake Lively of “Gossip Girl” has long claimed that she is not a party girl and her low key birthday bash Wednesday night suggested that it was no lie. The sexy Gossip girl star celebrated her birthday in the dimly lit wine sanctuary in the Monday Room at Public in SoHo. Celebrating her 23rd by sharing cake with a group of 15 very close friends, mostly from the West Coast.

It seems the only cast members from the hit show there were her boyfriend, Penn Badgley, and his best friend, Chace Crawford. Lively’s reported show rival, Leighton Meester, with whom she’s denied a rivalry, was nowhere to be found.The lack of cast members only fed the fires of rumors of decision in the ranks between show stars.
