When I saw this as the forecasted high for today there was a part of me that was kind of disappointed. I know that sounds crazy and the only thing I really miss about LA is the weather but when you become an east coaster it is the seasons and the changing of them that become another prized possession. This probably outs me as someone more new…that is usually the comment I get from my brother when I say something ridiculous to him. However, I mean it. The leaves changing have been absolutely awesome. Central Park has almost completely turned with soon to be bare trees and it is going to be 69 degrees today. Might I also mention that I have no idea what to wear today seeing that I changed over my closets like three weeks ago and for those of us that know what it is like to inhabit a NYC apartment, that is not an easy feat and those clothes are absolutely not accessible to me. This day kind of reminds me of my time spent in San Francisco when November was more like 80 degrees after just spending June, July and August in the 60′s. The bright side however, the sun is shining, the sky is clear and that trumps all for sure.
