It is coming down hard and fast outside and although it makes it rough for businesses and for people to just get stuff done, I am happy to see the snow finally here. Of course I may have a totally different take on it in a few days but for now, I am excited! Growing up in L.A. and going to college in Santa Barbara although full of many great moments, it did not include seasons. I LOVE seasons!! Like I was born to appreciate, partake and be in awe of the earth’s rotation and it’s effects on certain parts of the world. I enjoy it because I appreciate and am fascinated by nature and our planet but more importantly, I love all the different outfits I get to wear. I realize that makes me sound terribly shallow but I’m really not. Okay maybe a little and I don’t really think it is more important than my appreciation for nature but I do love fashion and that is probably why I have chosen to work in that industry for the last fifteen years. More on that later. Tonight I have some friends coming over for some holiday cheer and I am looking forward to lighting some candles, putting on some carols and catching up with and introducing friends to friends. It should be a great night to be inside with a hot toddy!
