Manhattan Style is running a ” Why I love New York City ” contest in which the winner will receive a one thousand dollar gift card to Bloomingdales, perhaps New York’s oldest and greatest department store. Anyone can enter, it’s simple, just submit a 500 to 750 word essay by April 15th, 2010 on what it is you love about New York City. Even for those who have never been, feel free to enter, just write about what you think the experience is going to be, or why you want to visit the greatest city in the world. We are looking for our winner to capture the New York experience, it is important that you write about actual places and things. Write about Broadway, or the first time your father took you to a Yankee game, the museums, the restaurants, the hotels, street fairs, Greenwich Village, ANYTHING THAT BRINGS THE NEW YORK EXPERIENCE TO LIFE for our readers. We are looking to share New York City with our followers, so we will be publishing the best articles on our web site. Our winner will be judged by style, content, writing ability and most of all how well he conveys his feel of the city in its people, places and things. The maximum we are allowing is three articles per contestant, but don’t worry we plan on running these contests thru out the year, giving away different New York experiences each time, so there will be plenty of chances to win.

To enter and win just email your article to CONTESTS@MANHATTANSTYLE.COM by April 15, 2010 with your name, the article and an email address where we can contact you. The winner will be selected by May 1st 2010.  The Bloomingdales gift card can be used at any Bloomingdales store located in the United States or online. Please read our representations now before entering.
