2010 Museum Dance Spring Safari at The American Museum of Natural History

The annual Museum Dance. For more than four decades, the American Museum of Natural History’s Museum Dance has captured the attention and imagination of 800 young New Yorkers for a spectacular evening of dinner, dancing, fun and philanthropy at the Museum. This year’s dance, a Spring Safari, will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2010.

See the Museum of Natural History and dance your way through the hall ways .As New York City’s longest-running junior benefit, the Museum Dance brings together influential and philanthropic young professionals to celebrate and raise essential funds for the Museum’s scientific and educational programs, which enable thousands of under served New York City school children to visit the Museum annually. This year’s theme is Spring Safari. The Museum Dance is generously sponsored by Lilly Pulitzer.

The event begins with an intimate dinner in Akeley Hall of African Mammals followed by dessert and dancing for all in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life. Throughout the evening, there will be a silent auction with luxury items from many of New York’s most exclusive retailers. Dance Spring Safari Chairs: Fabiola Beracasa, Tinsley Mortimer, Emilia Fanjul Pfeifler, Zibby and Andrew Right, Dana Wallach Jones and Michael T.M. Jones, and Arden Wohl.
