EBE Ensemble will produce its first free, outdoor summer program at Prospect Park’s 1887 Music Pagoda from July 24-August 7, featuring a repertory company in productions of Shakespears Romeo & Juliet and Julius Caesar.
The productions, is aptly titled Shakespeare in the Pagoda, an is sponsored in part by Arizona Iced Tea and will be site-specific and feature active, modern interpretations using Shakespeare’s classic texts. Live music and foley sound effects enhance the outdoor experience.
The schedule is as follows ;Romeo & Juliet will be featured from July 24: 1pm; July 25: 4pm; July 30: 1pm; July 31: 4pm; August 6: 4pm; August 7: 1pm. Julius Caesar will be featured: July 24: 4pm; July 25: 1pm; July 30: 4pm; July 31: 1pm; August 6: 1pm; August 7: 4pm.
The Music Pagoda is located near the East Drive Brooklyn ,shows will be every Saturday 7/24 – 8/7 staring at 1:00 pm and it’s free.
