Punk Rope premiere at Pratt. Punk Rope is an insanely fun, exercise class for people of all ages and fitness levels. Think recess crossed with boot camp plus a pinch of Spinal Tap. The High energy classes will be held at the Pratt Rec Center ,200 Willoughby Ave ,Thur, Jan 21 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Free to members of the rec center; $8 for the general public .
Punk Rope is a family-friendly, mash up mix of recess and boot camp, which is challenging enough for the fittest athlete, but accessible to exercisers of all ages, shapes, and fitness levels.Weather you are one of the countless self-described couch potatoes who usually hate to exercise or a series athelete.
Punk Rope blends fantasy-based functional exercise, games, relay races, core training, rope jumping, fun themes, and raise-the-roof tunes. It burns fat, strengthens bones, and improves cardiovascular conditioning, coordination, strength, agility, balance, and timing. The Punk Rope workout follow an interval-style format in which relatively short and demanding activities are followed by brief bouts of rest, allowing you to recharge your batteries so that you can work at a higher intensity throughout the class.
