I recently visited Landmarc and realized that it is a goodie that I needed to share. This restaurant started with a spot in Tribeca and truthfully I have never visited that location. From what I understand the food is equally good but the experience is different. Nonetheless, I met a few girlfriends at the Columbus Circle location for a cocktail and that turned into a late night dinner at the bar. The food is so consistently delicious that it is almost hard to vist just for a drink. Whether you are having their omelettes for brunch, mussels with frites or a burger, they never disappoint. I think what I like about it the most is the casual yet refined experience. They have an extensive wine list (half bottles only) and their staff is really great. They have a really great communal table that I brought my work team to last holiday for a night out. It was perfect for our annual white elephant gift exchange. Anyways, I cannot say enough about this spot and it is located inside the beautiful Columbus Circle with many other delicious eateries, Whole Foods and several retailers. It feels a little big business in relation to so many of the smaller, really special restaurants in the city but the experience is top notch and not to sound cliche but it always has me coming back for more. If on my own, meeting up with a friend or rallying a large group, it delivers every time. 10 Columbus Circle, 3rd Floor, 212.823.6123
