The heavy snow this winter has lead to one of the cities newest traditions ,snowmen some would call them snow folks are popping up all over the place in city parks, on city beaches and of course the Brooklyn Promenade were it seems Brooklynites have converged in all shapes and sizes unable to resist the allure of expressing themselfs by making snowmen .
These snowfolks were popping up all over on sidewalks and benches, in parks with a large concentrations on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. It’s a spontaneous unregulated outburst of creative snow culture both artistic and traditional .
Tourists have already discovered and been flocking to Brooklyn to witness the outbreak of snowfolk and have been thrilled by snowmen of the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Doing what tourists do most it seems everybody wants to have their picture taken with them. These snowthings ,snowmen and snowfolk are free form, and quite popular with dogs as well as people.
