Is the financial district the new fashion district? For Express, it very well may be. In celebration of the company’s 30th anniversary and achievement of finally going public, Express is merging two of Manhattan’s biggest industries, finance and fashion, by hosting an all day fashion affair downtown.

Starting at 9:30 in the morning, be sure to Tune into CNBC at 9:30 in the morning to see the models ring the bell at the Stock Exchange to mark the start of the day’s trading. Bankers, accountants, and everyone else working in the Wall Street area, I advise you to take a long lunch break. Starting at 12:30, models Alek Wek, Izabel Goulart, and Flavia de Oliveira will strut down a public catwalk showing of Express’ fashions. This public (and free) fashion show will be followed by the models handing out thousands of ‘mystery’ gift cards for as much as $75 dollars!

Sounds like a decent way to celebrate a 30th anniversary, doesn’t it?

Update your outfit instantly with Gucci sunglasses and fashion suits.
