So did you make the guest list for the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton ? The full list of confirmed guests and the seating plan has finally been released by the British monarchy Saturday.
Guests include include soccer star David Beckham , wife Victoria, Elton John and Guy Ritchie have been in the news for weeks but others, like soul singer Joss Stone and Mr. Bean actor Rowan Atkinson apparently a close friend of William’s father Prince Charles are new surprises.There are 1,900 invitees in all.
St. James’s Palace has also confirmed that Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa will be attending, despite the British concerns about the treatment of activists in his home country. The prince is not alone about 40 other foreign royals from countries including Denmark, Norway, Spain, Thailand and Morocco will also be in attendance.There will also be a who’s who of British government and defense officials, British soldiers who fought in Afghanistan and people who work for William’s charities. How ever President Obama was not invited.
The ceremony will be held at Westminster Abbey on April 29 with Queen Elizabeth II and other royal family members sitting in the front row across the aisle from the Middleton family. The Middletons will sit with the couple’s friends and Princess Diana’s Spencer family.
