Connie Stevens is a pretty well known name. An actress, and singer, she is best known for her role in the television series “Maverick,” and “Hawaiian Eye.” She also made a foray into directing with movies, the most notable of her attempts being “Saving Grace B. Jones.” In addition to all these feathers in her cap, she is also the founder of a skin care line called “Forever Spring.”
Although she has been a New Yorker for quite a while now, she is looking to spend more time in California. Apparently, it is her desire to be around her grandchildren that prompted her to sell her Park Millennium penthouse in Manhattan. Ms Stevens quoted “As much as I love New York, it’s hard to leave this now with all the babies running around.”
Connie Stevens apartment is on the 54th-floor of the aforementioned Park Millennium at 101 West 67th Street. She was the original buyer of this 2,500 square feet unit, but in the recent years she hadn’t used it much. There are three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms in this apartment.
The most stunning feature of this apartment is probably the sweeping views it offers from its floor to ceiling windows. It has been described as breathtaking. However, Connie Stevens has mentioned that the views aren’t always a blessing. The view she saw on September 11 was one of the reasons she decided to give up her beautiful apartment. In her own words she expressed that the “memories were not good.”
The apartment, listed with Peter Costas, Bernie Rubin and Robin Liftman of Prudential Douglas Elliman, was on the market for a few months last year. The last listed price was $8.2 million. According to Mr. Costas, they were recently approached by an investor, who bought the apartment this month, sight unseen. Although the deal has been finalized, the details of the contract price have been kept under wraps for the time being. However there are reports that the apartment has been sold for $7 million.
The good news for all the New York fans of Connie Stevens is that her decision to move out of New York and cut the chord with this vibrant city isn’t permanent. She has expressed an interest in coming back here, but the next time, she will be on the lookout for a smaller place. Take heart New Yorkers, Connie Stevens promises to be back.
