Paul Greenwood has been rather notorious off late thanks to the securities fraud he’s been involved in. However, recently a federal court judge has allowed Paul to sell his three houses in order to pay off the investors he defrauded. Together, all three properties have been listed of $10 million and they include his collectibles and antiques as well.
Of the three listings, the main house is by far the most beautiful and it has been listed at $8 million. This unique custom Palladian design sits on 9.1 acres and affords anybody living there stunning views of the Titicus Reservoir. It has been beautifully maintained and has a total 14 rooms. It even has an attached parking that can accommodate up to 3 cars, and anyone who’s run around in circles trying to find parking knows what a blessing this is going to be.
This 2 storey house modeled after the typical the colonial style was built in 1999. It has 5 bedrooms, 6 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms, high ceilings, an eat-in kitchen, walk in closets, a patio, a fireplace and a powder room. A spiral staircase takes you up to the display room where Greenwood has his precious and rather unique collection of antique Teddy bears.
There are several other interesting features in this house such as the library that has Cuban mahogany woodwork, which is indeed a beauty. The best quality limestone, granite, and marble have been used in this house and one can see mantles dating back to the 18th century.
The properties adjacent to the house are also being offered on sale. You have the option of buying them all together, including the pool complex complete with a guest house and the estate equipment storage and the staff housing, or just a part of it. Either way, it’s a great estate investment.
