RUB Barbeque stands for Righteous Urban Barbeque and it truly lives up to its name. RUB shows that you don’t have to leave NYC to get some truly great BBQ. The Ribs are big and juicy, the pulled pork absolutely delicious. I also went back a second time to get the Barbeque Chicken which I loved. There is nothing unique or special about the atmosphere, but that is just fine for an old fashioned rib joint, NYC has plenty of upscale high design restaurants, in this case simple works great. Be careful when ordering the side dishes, one order can feed two or three people. I definitely recommend RUB for a simple fun night out with friends, or just bring it in.
Rub is located at 208 W 23rd street (between 7th and 8th) Phone- 212-524-4300
