In very simple words, the iPhone 3G is probably one of the best iPhones ever and if it weren’t for the price, people would be snatching this phone off the stands in a jiffy. Apple has finally come up with a product that receives great points on nearly every aspect. Highlights of this phone include OS X applications from the App Store, GPS navigation with a digital compass, Apple’s signature music-playing capabilities, super fast web browsing, improved battery life, Wi-Fi, faster applications, and up to 32 GB of built-in memory. The camera in this iPhone has been upgraded up to 3 megapixels and now comes with autofocus.
Yet another feature that the company has worked on, which may miss the scrutiny of some people is the treatment on the surface of the touch screen. While the display on the iPhone 3GS is identical to the one its predecessor has, they’ve added oleophobic coating to it which makes the touch screen highly resistant to that irritating thing known as fingerprint smudging. A single swipe on the leg of your pants is all it takes to wipe the phone squeaky clean. It’s a small thing to be so ecstatic about, but for people who are extremely particular about keeping their display spic and span, it’s a blessing in disguise.
Looks wise, the Apple iPhone 3G S is a very slim and tactile phone, and it’s almost a pleasure to hold it in your hands. As you handle it with a lot of love and care, you realize that you are holding the perfect combination of the power of three in your hands. The Apple iPhone ‘triples’ up as a great phone, an iPod, and a mobile internet device. What other phone could make such claims to greatness? The longer you use the iPhone, the more you are going to wonder how you ever survived without it.
As a mobile phone, the 3G S fulfills all its obligations and offers users a lot more than what they would find in an ordinary phone. As a music player, well, need we say more seeing the mad frenzy with which iPods are being bought? And, as an internet device the fabulous Safari web browser, and easy scrolling and zooming of full web pages, not to mention the e-mail functions, clearly wins the hearts of many. If you have the money to splurge, you don’t have to look beyond the Apple iPhone 3G S for that which you call the ultimate phone.
