HTC Wildfire, the new smartphone from the Taiwanese firm, is a budget phone designed for leisure. And, what a chic budget phone it is. However, the resolution of the 3.2 inch touchscreen is better than the HTC tattoo, with a resolution of 240 x 320. As an additional feature, the calls are synchronized with your phone book and social networking to give you the ‘next-generation Caller ID’. And, if you feel the need to update your social networking pages, you can do it all in one go. With the News App, you can choose what blogs or websites you want to receive updates and feeds from. HTC Wildfire takes every effort to make life easier when you are on the go.

In addition to this, there are a host of features that are a delight for any smartphone user. You can customize up to seven homepages on the phone, make use of Apps like Google Maps, Geotagging, and an inbuilt compass. For its business minded audience, it offers email synchronization and built-in Microsoft Exchange. Now, if it just had a documents program, it would catch the attention of people who are looking for a phone to help them with their business needs. But clearly, HTC Wildfire doesn’t want to go down that lane.

The phone’s mp3 player is quite good and has a crisp and clear sound. It is very easy to manage and synch with your tunes. 512 MB of inbuilt memory offers a fair amount of storage space for your favorite songs and you can boost the storage capacity up to 32GB with the help of a Micro SD card.

All in all, the Wildfire is a pretty good deal to land, if you are looking for a reasonably priced phone that offers a host of features.
